New York-based singer-songwriter Jackie West returned on May 10th with her new album, Closer to the Mystery, released via Ruination Record Co.
“End of the World” is the album’s opening track with some gorgeous sparse and fragile instrumentation, that is well paired with the emotive and stirring vocals that paint a vivid soundscape that certainly sets the tone for the rest of the record. Adorned with some fantastic orchestration and finger-picked guitar, it’s a combination that is awe-inspiring.
