Last week saw Toronto-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Abigail Lapell release her new album, Anniversary, via Outside Music.
One of the highlights from the record is the album’s standout single “Count on Me”, which features indie folk band Great Lake Swimmers. It’s a song that explores the passage of time – delivering its message in a tried and true fashion that features gorgeous instrumentation and a sparse yet poetic sonic soundscape that is warm and inspired.
