Little Oil is a San Francisco Bay Area musician who returned with his sophomore record, Twelve Songs, last month via Fountain Tapes Label.
It features tracks like the wistful single and highlight, “Empty Vacant Pure Divine”, a jangle pop track that is about “accidentally attaining nothingness and then chasing that feeling forever.” It’s channels all the classics of the genre, feeling like a lost gem from the 80s.
