Italian indie rock outfit I Hate My Village recently returned with their vibrant single “Water Tanks”, which will appear on their new album out this Spring via Locomotiv Records.

“Water Tanks” is a lively dance-and worldly flavor of summer-driven dance and indie rock, that reminds a bit of Fools’ Gold’s “Surprise Hotel.”

Speaking on the track, the band’s Adriano Viterbini explains:

“During a crazy and unusual pseudo-Afrobeat jam during our first tour, we recorded it to tape and over time we finished it digitally. It is slightly optimistic and hallucinated music, in unstoppable degradation”.
