Uk-based singer-songwriter Fairhazel has recently shared single “Weary Eyes” a song that they describe as a song you play in the car after a night out with that unique energy that it brings.
There’s a blend of indie folk and a dreamy atmospheric presence that has elements of artists like Jose Gonzalez with a more widescreen rock/pop blend that soars high into the atmosphere.
Speaking on “Weary Eyes”, Fairhazel adds:
Weary Eyes is a song you play in the car after a night out, when you are alone & the feeling of melancholy & euphoria blend into a new emotion that only exists at 3am. “Your 20s are the best years of your life”. At 26, I wonder, will I look back & feel like these are the best years of my life? Sad that I don’t have as many followers or monthly listeners as my friends? But it’s in those moments at 3am, driving home, that I realize that no matter what I’m on the path I’m on, and I’m really living.
