Howdy, Cherry, the project of singer-songwriter Caroline Lazar, has recently released her new single, “Georgia (again).”

It’s a tender and emotive listen that was written after the harrowing experience of seeing her ex walk into the bar with someone new. There’s a wistful and contemplative nature to the song that delivers its emotional and bittersweet nature with a warm and inviting nature that has elements of both Faye Webster and Phoebe Bridgers.

Speaking on the song, Lazar adds:

I wrote the lyrics to Georgia in the midst of an emotional breakdown seeing my ex walk into a bar with a potential new lover. It’s meant to be nostalgic, a little sad, a little hopeful- and truly means whatever it means to you < 3
