Dumaresq is a vocalist/producer out of Australia who recently won us over with his single “Absent Pixel.” It’s the second track shared ahead of the upcoming album, The Resurrection of a Thylacine.
It’s a sparse yet powerhouse blend of 90s indie rock with elements of folk and a rousing post-rock sound that also has elements of emo rock. Think American Football meets Explosions In The Sky. It’s emotive and cinematic in a rousing and tender fashion.
