Ian Everything is the Canadian-based producer who used to formerly make music under the moniker of Bear Mountain, an artist we posted on this blog over a decade ago.
This year saw him return with the new project/music with debut single “Friendship Breakup” and he’s since returned with new single “Moving Away.” It’s a colorful hypnotic blend of electronic and house with elements of Jamie xx with a widescreen scope and cinematic nature and vibrancy.

I wrote this song one night after looping the drum break and singing softly into the microphone. It sorted of all happened on it’s own and came together in an evening. It’s about moving on and moving away from a relationship that doesn’t serve you any more, and about the freedom that comes from letting go.
