HEAR ME OUT is a post-punk band from Bielefeld, Germany that released their debut EP, Permanent Thoughts, on March 22nd via ATOME RUHE.

“Borderlands” is its opening cut and lead single, a track that operates with the sharp precision of a post-punk anthem, but with a sprawling atmospheric spirit that opens the genre up in a more expansive and unique path of its own, blending elements of the ethereal variety of Warpaint, and dance-punk nature of early Bloc Party.

Speaking on the track, they add:

Lyrically it is a product of our singer’s thoughts drifting away during a university class about migration, taking a critical point of view on nations as constructs and showing sympathy with those who have to abandon their homes.
