Australian-based band Fan Girl has recently released their single “stupidstupid”, a song about “a doomed relationship, an inevitable crumble, an almost comical disconnect between two people.”
It’s a high-energy and insanely catchy slice of indie rock/pop with a vibrant tone and some rather infectious hooks. Its production and feel take us back to the days of the early 2000s, we can imagine it being selected as an iTunes free single of the week (this is a compliment!).
