Almost Twins is a 5-piece indie folk band from Leipzig, Germany who caught our attention earlier in the year with their single “Mosaics”. It’s a track taken from their upcoming debut album, Hands / Trees, along with the recently shared “Puppeteer”.
It’s a song that deals with the feelings of losing control and powerlessness. Bristling flourishes blend elements of a Jose Gonzalez airy folk atmosphere, with more experimental and artful grace of acts like Alt-J and Adult Jazz.
