Toronto-based indie outfit Wine Lips recently returned with their new album, Super Mega Ultra, which was released via Stomp Records.
One of the highlights of the record is “Fried IV”, a super-charged and frantic free-spirited garage rock blitz. It’s a barnburner fireball of a punk effort with a joyous vibrant energy that absolutely soars with the utmost confidence.
Detailing the track, the band adds:
I’ve written a version of ‘Fried’ on every record we put out, so naturally I had to add a ‘Fried IV’ to this album…It was the last song recorded for [Super Mega Ultra]…and it became one of my favorite tracks.”
