Helsinki-based indie band Lala Salama recently let go of their new single “Aurinko sulattaa mun pään” (The Sun Melts My Head).

It’s a soaring blistering blend of indie rock with a shimmering bright-minded nature and vocal performance. There’s a natural charm to it all, even though I may not know what they’re singing about, it captures a melancholic and wistful feeling that feels life-affirming and grand.

Speaking on the track the band adds:

The song envelops listeners in an honest and emotional story of everyday moments, the contradiction between forgetting and remembering, while offering a chance for momentary lightness inspired by a sunny day. It is designed to be played on road trips, late night parties, on beaches, and summer adventures.
