The Simpletons are a reformation of the Dallas-based indie/alternative rock band from the early 1990s who have returned with their new single, “Cold In The Daylight.”
It’s approach harnesses the warmth and charm of the classic jangle power pop with a look back towards the past in a way that feels both nostalgic, and with its sights set on the future as well. Big jangly guitars and a duo of powerful vocals that all combine into something instantaneous and charming.
