RITUALS is a bedroom shoegaze/ post punk / nu gaze outfit from Toronto who have returned with “Blood Horizon”, their first new single in nearly a decade, along with their first whow in that same timespan on March 24th.
The song is about “youth and falling in love after tragedy”, delivering a blend of 90s shoegaze with a dark leaning sense of melancholy, blending with elements of 2000s post rock and even late 90s emo rock. There’s a gothic tone and atmosphere blended with the fuzziness of the guitars, that packs a significant blissful and inspired punch.
