Liquid Pennies is an indie-psych quartet from St Petersburg, Florida who have returned with their single “Doom Doubt”, a song that precedes their upcoming fourth full-length album.
It’s a blend of glorious psych-induced garage rock with a glorious fuzzy spirit that channels modern bands like Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees, with a classic rock and punk influence running through it as well. Great big licks, grimy vocals, and a live-take style of production treat it well.
