Irish outfit HAVVK released their new album, To Fall Asleep, on March 15th, via Veta Records.
The track is a blend of sharp post-punk with a bit of a 90s garage rock and pop kick that has some smart pop hooks and vocals that deliver a passionate approach to a song about a serious subject.
Speaking on the meaning of the song, lead singer Julie Hawk adds: “while it’s obviously serious, the song is also laughing in the face of these kind of eye-rollable scenes, which we should surely put behind us by now.”
