Earlier this month Waynesboro, Pennsylvania artist Ethan Larsh released his new album, Into Thine Kingdom of Heaven.
“Mustard On My Shirt” is a highlight and single from the record, a song that “describes a man who becomes suicidal after spilling mustard on his shirt.” There’s an alt-country and folk style to the track, with a bit of an early Wilco/Jeff Tweedy quality with a more tongue-in-cheek nature about it, an interesting combination with the more meditative and emotive qualities of the single as it expands during its runtime.
You can enjoy the single below and find the entire album available to stream and purchase at Bandcamp.
