lotusbliss is a band made up of three brothers hailing from Canterbury, UK, who have recently shared their single “Tear Me Apart”, the first taken from their mini album, due out later in the year.

The track blends elements of 80s synth-pop and new wave, with a groovy pop sensibility which has a widescreen nature and appeal, with some big broad appeal. It soars with a pristine level of confidence that hits with a sense of nostalgia that sweeps you straight off your feet.

Speaking on the single, the band adds:

“The making of this song has been a labour of love over many years. It wasn’t until last year, when we had another go at re-writing it, that the song really came to life. The process of creating it really matches the lyrical journey; it’s a song about refusing to allow the darkest moments, the hurtful words or the hurdles you face to be what breaks you – ‘I won’t let this be what tears me apart’. These things can instead be the making of you. It has been a struggle and a wrestle to finish this song, but we’re so glad we didn’t let the difficulties throw us off”.
