M. Dunton is an indie-folk artist based in East Nashville by way of Idaho. Today he’s released his self-titled full-length debut album.

It features tracks like the gorgeous “I Left My Heart Out West.” It’s a “classic road song” about “he mixed emotions of leaving home.” It carries elements of alt-country and folk with a naturalism that feels familiar, yet done in a way that sees Dunton confidently make it very much his own.
