Irish singer-songwriter Niamh Regan will return with her new album, Come As You Are, which will be released on May 31st via Faction Records.
Ahead of its release, she has shared its lead single, “Madonna.” It’s a song that Regan wrote in a stream of consciousness, focusing on the “violence often suffered by women.” It’s a gentle and stirring piece of folk, with some sparse but poignant arrangements and heartbreaking lyrics that showcase the fractured command that reminds of some of Laura Marlings’ earliest work.
