Hot Wheels is the project of LA-based painter and musician, Dan Bruinooge. He’s recently let go of his debut single, “August.”
It’s a blend of 1960s surf rock with an ambient nature, a bit of a dreamy vintage nostalgia that has a bit of a Beach House quality to it. There’s a naturalism to the track that floats by like a cool crisp breeze on a summer day, cinematic and scope, but intimate in its heartfelt delivery.
