Manchester singer-songwriter Caoilfhionn Rose has returned with her new single “Rainfall”, the first taste from her upcoming new album, Constellation, coming in May.
It’s a fragile piano-led folk ballad with a haunted style of production and atmosphere, one with some gorgeous arrangements and a cinematic otherworldly quality that spreads her vocals out in a most beautiful and mesmerizing fashion.
Speaking on the song, she adds:
“A meditative song on feeling lots of mixed emotions and letting them all wash over you like rain, letting them come and go. ‘In the rain falls, I feel it all’. “
