Italian singer-songwriter Sleap-e has announced the release of her new album, 8106, which will be released on March 22nd via Bronson Recordings.
The track has a crisp and chill breezy nature that has some shimmering Strokes-esque guitar work with a fun pop-themed vocal performance and vibrant positive energy running throughout. There are elements of bands like Hinds and Diet Cig, with a loose charm quite of its own accord.
Speaking on the title of the single, she says:
“It means, ‘Please, God, let me be happy. It was a prayer to myself to keep going, continue to be happy and have fun.”
