Meat in Space is the solo rock project of Bay Area multi-instrumentalist Shawn Stedman, who has recently shared his new single “Ruby Tourmaline.”
It’s a track that captures a raw 90s rock sound with a blend of lo-fi charm and a sunny West Coast spirit. It feels like a blend of early Modest Mouse, Neutral Milk Hotel, and even some Ty Segall. There is a passion to the track that just takes us back in time to a different point in our lives, an always welcome sign.
