Japanese Television is a UK-based “space-surf-psych-rock” quartet who have recently won our attention with their new single, “Typhoon Reggae Police.”

The track is inspired in a roundabout way by The Wall, with its title coming from the name of a demo cassette listed in Mark E. Smith’s autobiography ‘Renegade.” It’s a blend of 60s psych with elements of classic surf rock and a fusion that has a groovy vibe that feels like it’s just aching to be used in a score by the likes of Tarantino or even Guy Ritchie in a most unexpected manner.
