Holy Fool is a Glasgow/London-based duo who have recently let go of their single “Ache”, a song that will appear on their debut album, due out later this year.
It’s a smooth soulful indie rocker with some callbacks to the hooky indie rock of the mid-2000s, reminding of bands like Spoon, Midlake, and Robbers on High Street.
Detailing “Ache” they add:
“Ache” is about passion and caring so much about someone so much that it drives you to the edge. It’s essentially an anti-love-song-love-song about tension and the need for release.
