Elliott Ok is a singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist who recently shared their new single “Here and New York”, taken from his upcoming album, Going Away Party.
The hearty soulful folk sound was inspired when they were listening to a lot of 70’s New York music from the likes of Lou Reed and Television. There’s a meditative and reflective sense of melancholy and nostalgia to the song with a gritty old-school warmth that you just don’t find this authentic anymore.
