Pamphlets are a post-punk band based in Brooklyn that we have shared around these parts plenty over the past few years.

They’re readying their debut album this May, and have shared “Wholesome Organic Convenience”, the first of three singles leading up to it.

The track is about “all of the new corner stores/bodegas popping up around NYC and how we hate how manufactured they are and yet we can’t stop using them as they are so convenient.” It has that dark sharp angular post-punk sound with an artful nature that casts a wide observant eye to go through with the biting guitar work and old-school NYC punk vibe.
