Hipsy Gap are a Brooklyn-based indie rock band who have recently released their new single “Fantasize”, a track about “yearning to return to the good times of a fizzling relationship.”
It captures a lush melancholic spirit full of passionate vocals and a blend of shoegazy production and instrumentals, with a whip-smart chorus that has fragments of 90s power pop songwriting, with a magic feeling of its own. There are elements of contemporary bands such as Slow Pulp, Snail Mail, and Wolf Alice.
