Canalss is a Flordia-based project described as being for “Floridians who hate the sun.” They’re preparing the release of their sophomore album, Done Sleeping, which is out March 1 via Zerowell Records.
The record is described as a “biting and poetic critique of South Florida’s soul-sucking materialism set to a bedroom slacker rock soundtrack.” Case in point is the moody yet poignant blend of slacker rock and raw nature of single “$$$ Eyes”, which delivers a deft and poignant glow.
