Hotel Cola are an English band who cheekily have self-described themselves as “that band you and your dad like.”
They recently released their debut single, “Different Now You’re Gone”, a blend of 70s classic rock with a soulful charming touch that bridges the gap between the worlds of The Strokes and bedroom rock. Or as they describe it:
“Different Now You’re Gone” superglues the fragmented pieces of britpop back together, telling the tale of ditching the monkey on your back, only to realise the grass isn’t always greener.
