Too Much Lunch is a Canadian indie rock band who just returned with their single, “Sour”, the second bit of new material since their 2022 debut single “Graveyard Memory.”
“Sour” is a shimmering and lush piece of 90’s era shoegaze and dream pop with an evanescent dream-like quality with a stunning feeling of melancholy hovering in the air. Traces of bands like Alvvays, Japanese Breakfast, and Slowdive come to mind, but there is a quality completely of its own that certainly rises it into a singular place of its own.
