Raleigh band Pretty Crimes will return with their new album, Every Moment All At Once, on February 2nd. The album is based off of the concept of all the “threads of connection people have with each other, and how all of these threads come together to form the sum of one’s identity.”
You get a sense of these themes of humanity in songs such as the single “Plans”, a track that harnesses some of the power of 70s classic rock and a bit of a throwback with some glam guitar work, along with a vocal performance steadied by some piano. It’s a charming and familiar effort that also feels like a trip back down memory lane.
