The High Wire is the Anglo-Canadian duo of Tim Crompton and Alexia Hagen who recently returned with their lovely single “2 Rivers.” We previously shared “Clueless” in the summer.
The track continues their commitment to recording tracks in one day, “embracing conciseness and simplicity throughout the writing and recording process.” It allows for “2 Rivers” to have this grand melancholic loveliness to it that feels rooted in some of the best classic rock songs of the 1970s. Big sprawling guitars and hazy vocals, which are produced creating a vintage effect.
