Amelia Coburn is a UK-based singer-songwriter who will release her debut album later this year.

“See Saw” is a single from the album that takes inspiration from the fairy tales and superstitions gathered on travels around the world as part of Amelia’s ongoing language studies.

Produced by Bill Ryder-Jones the track channels this inspiration into a whimsical dreamy folk and indie rock sound that is bristling with imagination, sounding like a carnival come to life at times.

On the track, Amelia says:

“See Saw was inspired by superstition, from the novel The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, and a childhood fascination of travelling carnivals. It was the last song that was written for the album and was finished on the M62 on the way down to the studios! I love that the production reminds me of one of my favourite Beatles songs, Benefit of Mr Kite – it was such a privilege to record with Bill.”
