Dutch singer-songwriter MADOUX released their new EP, Anywhere in November, featuring tracks like the shimmering “In Our Blood.”
The single is inspired by a collection of memories I have with my younger sister, and the lush indie pop offering has a feeling of melancholy and heartfelt warmth that elevates from the rest of the pack of the genre.
Speaking on the track, they add:
“With this song I wanted to let her know that I’m so proud of who she became when there were some points in life were it could have ended much different for us. For me the song captures a nostalgic feeling of growing up in a small town, the playfullnes of when we were still kids, and how valuable it is to grow up in a household having siblings; someone with whom you share your very first memories.“
