Earlier this month Brooklyn-based folk singer-songwriter Taylor Pearlstein released her new EP, Perfect Blue.
One of the standouts is single “Back Away”, a song that has a gentle stirring atmosphere of isolation, with a fragile sense of storytelling that is piercing in its raw honesty. It slowly morphs into something of a grand finale, channeling artists like Sharon Van Etten, Torres, and Angel Olsen.
