Mod Mofma is a psych-rock band from Denver, Colorado who earlier this year won us over handily with their debut single “What Are You Thinking?”
They have kept the momentum going steady on the follow-up single “The Poster,” a track with elements of hazy ethereal dream pop with a dark edge to it. There are traces of bands like La Luz and Warpaint with a surfy garage rock presence, but also a hint that something sinister may be afoot under the surface.
We’re eager to see what 2024 has in store for one of the most intriguing new bands out there.
