Annual Leaf is a Melbourne-based band that recently returned with their new EP, Strong Man Yellow Bean.
The opening track and single “In Turnaround” captures some of the power of 90s indie rockers such as Yo La Tengo and Luna, with some of the elements of modern acts such as Parquet Courts. Elemtns of post-punk, garage rock, and jangle pop combine forces into something charming and sincere.
