Los Angeles singer & songwriter Lily Kershaw has recently hit back with her new single “Depreshmode”, her first new music since 2019 and the first taste of her new record, due out in 2024.

The touching track looks into her personal experience with prolonged depression, with a raw and vulnerable folk route that packs a deep and sincere emotional punch with devastating effect.

Speaking on the track, Kershaw adds:

“There was a girl who I was very close to when I was younger, and I told her how bad my depression was. Within a short period of time, she stopped talking to me. So I started joking about depression a lot. I wouldn’t say I was depressed; I would say I was in depreshmode.”
