Never2Late is the project led by Yorkshire-based guitarist and songwriter SteveB, who is also a semi-retired orthopaedic surgeon. The band recently returned with a reworked version of “Love Is Wise”, a song taken from their first album, 2015’s, It’s Hell In Happy Town.

The track has an observational and potent look at life and looking at the way we handle our lives and to make sure we don’t take the little things for granted. There is a 90s rock groove and production style to the song that finds a fair bit of bite, while also delivering its message with supreme charm.

Or as SteveB puts it:

The next single release is a reworking of “Love Is Wise” (I was never happy with the original bridge) as it is sadly just as relevant today as it was when I wrote it. Inspired by a quote from the philosopher Bertrand Russell “Love is wise, hatred is foolish…”
