Singer-songwriter Bridget Rian recently returned with her new EP, Nuclear Family, which features tracks like the stunning “Super 8.”

The track is about “attempting to rescue someone from their suffocating, dysfunctional family.” It’s a harrowing and atmospheric-driven slice of folk with a tender-hearted approach and heartbreaking nature. Pretty and sincere, it taps into something heartfelt and wholesome.

Speaking on the single, Rian adds:

“Super 8” is about attempting to rescue someone from their suffocating, dysfunctional family. The song paints a vivid picture of two people on the run, seeking shelter and comfort in each other’s company as they weather out a storm.
