Honeywave is a Boston, Massachusetts band who have recently returned with their new EP, Connect. The EP’s opening cut is the amazingly titled “My Dad Saw Joy Division Live.”
It bursts out of the speakers with warm 80s-inspired synth tones, with a blend of new wave, synth-pop, and post-punk that features a spoken word section before blossoming into something anthemic and pop-minded.
