Dyan is the solo project of film composer, Alexis Dyan Marsh, who is preparing the release of their sophomore album and has given us a taste with its second single, “Steady Hand.”
The track is a fragile and haunted slice of folk rock, with a devastating tone and atmosphere. There are traces of artists like Sharon Van Etten and Angel Olsen in the way it navigates these dark tones and spirits in a compassionate way that does find traces of light within the darkness.
