Swiss indie outfit Soft Loft has caught our attention throughout this summer with the release of their debut EP, In Case You Get Lonely.
They are preparing for the release of their debut album, The Party and the Mess, next year, and have given us a taste with lead single, “Rose Colored.”
The song blends the worlds of indie folk and dream pop with a swift and energized jangly fashion. There is a dream-like golden hue to the track, that has a radiating positive energy, blended with traces of melancholy bubbling under the surface.
Or as they put it:
The song is a hooky bounce underscored with a feeling of uplift, airy—a portal to a place of “feel good.”
