Nashville, Tennessee-based singer-songwriter Abby Johnson released her self-titled debut album in September via Earth Libraries.
Single “Try Me On” is a gritty bluesy blend of alt-country and folk with traces of early 2000s indie gems like Jenny Lewis, Neko Case, and Camera Obscura. Gritty but also tender with an emotive sense of storytelling, with a bit of Southern grit.
