Stephen Holliger is a producer who also releases music under his Swim Ignorant Fire moniker. In 2018 he composed the score for the Amir Motlagh’s 2018 feature film, MAN.
“Frogging” is the haunting first track, which is an emotive and ethereal experience full of ambient tones and flourishes that leave a lasting impression and sets your mind on a vivid cinematic journey.
Then there was his 2020 album as Swim Ignorant Fire, Proxima Centauri, described as a ” sci-fi inspired dark synth dive into electronic ambient music with crushed/glitched electronics .” This can be best seen on the album’s standout track “57 Day Statis” which finds a peaceful and tranquil state of mind through gorgeous synth chords and ambience.
