The Shop Window is a five-strong Janglepop/Indiepop guitar band originally from Maidstone, Kent, with members now spead out across Kent, Wiltshire, Dorset, and Suffolk. They’re gearing up to release their third album, Daysdream, a double album due out in 2024.
“It’s A High” is a 90s era blend of jangle pop and indie rock that soars with a pleasant atmosphere and tone that has some natural pop brilliance to it that is just readymade for listening at summer pool parties and BBQs.
Speaking on the track, the band’s Syd Oxlee adds:
“Love can be a bit of a rollercoaster. An adrenaline fuelled ride of twists and turns. It’s frenetic and charged with a heady mix of those moments where you laugh, scream and you want to just get off. It’s about the best highs ever and doing it all whilst holding the hand of ‘that’ someone.”
