Blue Cove is a Chicago indie/dream pop project founded by two childhood best friends, whose music we have shared on these pages before.
They recently released their debut album Thrive, which features sprawling tracks that mix 90s shoegaze and dream pop with a raw nature that captures a lush nature that evokes feelings of nostalgia and lost loves. Or more specifically: “ruminations on family, youthful naivete, and death.”
